Since her entry into the South African entertainment field, Liezel van der Westhuizen has stood head and shoulders above the rest. Not only for her talents as a presenter, speaker, MC and fitness coach, but also in physical stature. At a towering 1,8 meters, she owns the nickname “Giraffe” with pride.

In fact, both this epithet and the symbolism of giraffes as individual, memorable and statuesque are so central to her identity, that when Liezel launched her new venture, a personal branding institute, she affectionately named it “The Giraffe Brand Academy”. Through this, she equips people with a tangible sense of self and gives them tools to refine their brands and to expand their dreams.

With her feet on the ground and her head held high, Liezel believes that there is more than enough success to go around. She leads by example and works daily to add value to the lives of those she coaches, measuring her own success by their progress.
