The Tree

My memories of running a marketing business seem in stark contrast to the work I do today – a creator of visual art. I sometimes feel like a combination of Sherlock Holmes and Gandolf – uncovering interesting and beautiful things and recreating it in a magical way.

For the last few months, I’ve poured myself into learning and growing in the field of photography and Photoshop. The experience has felt like a tree, developing of its own accord, its roots deepening as I have continued to grow.

An ancient Chinese proverb says, "The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.”

This proverb is about intentionally creating new beginnings, growing and letting the journey upwards unfold.
